Remix Magazine Printing – Truly Global Print Management

Remix Magazine is a publication with centres in New Zealand and New York.

That alone already spans half the globe. But in September 2014, they needed magazines in Cologne, Germany – another long haul flight to the other side of the world.

Their print is artfully managed by Glen Grimditch at Ultimate Print Solutions in Marina del Rey, California. But when Remix asked for printing in Europe, even Glen found the sourcing difficult.

Time zones are one major issue. Being 3 hours ahead of his client in New Zealand, and 9 hours behind the print destination in Germany, caused its own set of challenges. Multiply that by language, and the project becomes more than troublesome.

EuropeanPrinter.com represented the perfect solution. English speaking, with a direct US telephone number and fast response to emails, the project was ready to go in a matter of days.

In this case the page size was A4 – a standard European paper size. Pages were sent using wetransfer.com

Proofing was done via low resolution pdf’s. A couple of minor changes to interior pages and the files were ready.

The turnaround was quick and the delivery was made without a hitch.
